This is a gorgeous 1920s silk cocktail dress. It's made from two layers of black silk chiffon, intricately beaded into a beautiful art deco design with gold bugle beads. A zigzag design wraps around the hips, with abstract shapes and leaves, and rows of beaded lines. The dress has a straight fit, and would best suit an XS to allow the fabric to drape over the body. There are two short side slits, and the dress is lined in the black silk chiffon so it appears more opaque when worn.

CONDITION: Very good overall. There are a few areas of bead loss or where the end of a bead cluster has a loose thread. The neckline has some bead loss along the edge, and the shoulder seams have some bead loss as well. The silk is strong and this dress is very wearable.

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase.

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
