A lovely 1920s/30s dress, made of a luxurious brown silk fabric with a sweet orange rose print and jacquard weave dots. The design has a relaxed fit silhouette, with a lowered waist, and short sleeves. The bodice has two draped panels that attach at the shoulder and fall across the bust below the V-neckline. The skirt features a zig zag seamline along the right side, and falls past the knee. The back neck has small pintucks at the centre, and it comes with a matching belt with early plastic buckle.
COLOR: Brown, Orange
MATERIAL: Silk
LABEL: None
CONDITION: Good condition, silk is strong and the dress is very wearable. The front draped pieces are split open along the edges and would need to be stitched closed or removed. There is also exposed twill tape stitched down below the left side draped piece. There are faint black stains on the centre front of the waist.
