Antique 1920s Purple & Silver Art Deco Beaded Mesh Bag/Purse with Fringe
This item was brought to the collection from an estate that included many Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco vintage items. We're dating it to the 1920s, and it's still quite sturdy and ready to use, with a bit of loving care.
The beading is quite heavy and dense (and is likely leaded crystal), and the ribbon is a lovely Art Deco purple and silver abstract pattern.
COLOR: Clear, iridescent beads, silver tone metal seed beads. The ribbon is purple and silver.
MATERIAL: The beads are quite heavy, and appear to be leaded crystal. Steel metallic seed beads, and cotton/metallic ribbon.handle.
CONDITION: Very good to excellent vintage condition. The bag body is in excellent shape, with no issues. The ribbon is rolled and has a tear in it at one point: we suggest removing it, careful pressing, and a bit of repair. Because it's gorgeous!

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.
All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase.
We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.
We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
