This is a stunning sapphire blue vintage 40s cocktail dress/ party frock. It has long sleeves with loop buttons at the wrists to close, and slightly gathered at the shoulders. The bodice has a beautiful drape, gathered with shirring at the shoulders and a cowl draped neckline. It sits at the natural waist, where it has some pintucks. There are 6 looped buttons at the centre-back neck to close. The skirt is flared with 3 panels in the back and 3 in the front. Snap fasteners and hooks at the left side seam. There are shoulder pad liners without shoulder pads currently inserted. Unlined.

CONDITION: This beauty does come with some issues.
There are tears above and below the side opening.
A few marks to the skirt, front and back.
Some stitches loose on the shoulders.
The left side of the neckline is torn.
Fabric is torn beneath the back neck buttons.
Part of the back waist seam is undone near the right side. Similar small openings in the right sleeve seam.
A couple of the buttons are loose.
