
Late 1930s evening gown with sheer beaded bodice, black satin crepe skirt and attached belt. Beaded sleeves are slightly gathered and have an open slit on the outside. Round gathered neckline. Natural waist. Full length flared skirt in 5 sections. Closes at back neck with hook and eye and side seam with snap fasteners. Underlay camisole with beige edging and straps.
COLOUR: Black, beige
MATERIAL: Crepe-backed satin, sheer mesh/gauze. Also seed beads and diamantés.

CONDITION: Shredding of straps. Some areas of wear on the skirt. A few seams that are opening. Back neck opening is ripped. Eye is missing. Shoulders are shredding. Some beads missing. Some areas weakened around beadwork.
