Vintage 1940s Black Soutache Embroidered Rayon Crepe Jacket, Small

Lovely 1940s black rayon crepe jacket with soutache embroidery on the front and an embossed pattern throughout. It features a shawl collar and three large buttons down the front. There is a slim fabric shoulder pad to add a little bit of structure. The embroidery was difficult to capture in the photos as everything is solid black- but it really looks amazing in person!

CONDITION: Good condition overall. There are a few small moth bites on the back right shoulder that have been repaired using a strip of interfacing. The interfacing is visible from the inside, but not from the outside.

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase. 

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
