This is a lovely and classic New Look style 1950s silk dress with a beautiful large floral print in earth tones of green, brown and ochre. The dress features a wrap-style bodice with a crossover design and deep V neck, cut-in-one sleeves and a raised neckline at the back. The skirt is very full and gathered at the waist, and zips up at the centre back with a metal zipper. It is lined in a sheer organdy.
COLOR: Brown, Ochre, Orange, Yellow Green
MATERIAL: Silk, lined in organdy
CONDITION: Good overall condition and very wearable. There was a repair done near the underarm of the right side. It was reinforced with interfacing underneath. There are several tears in the organdy lining throughout the bodice. The lining could be removed or the tears could be repaired with some fusing. Priced As-Is. The outside of the dress still presents very beautifully and has lots of life left!
