A gorgeous and classic vintage skirt suit set from the 1950s. The colour is a deep red (very popular in the period) and has matching red buttons with a very thin gold/brass trim. The waist is slightly nipped, which helps create that hourglass shape that was so sought after in the 1950s. The jacket has two pocket flaps, but they are just decorative, there are no pockets (sorry!). The set includes a jacket and a skirt which can be worn together or separately. This piece is a true classic

SKIRT:

CONDITION: Excellent ! 
- There are 3 small pulls, one on the collar, one on the waist of the jacket, and one the right sleeve facing the back. 
- There is a loose thread along the the seam on the right sleeve 
- Wear on the buttons
- There is a small hole on the back of the waistband on the skirt. 
- The waistband has some rough stitching but its only noticeable if you are inspecting it. Not noticeable when wearing it.

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase. 

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
