Vintage 1950s Electric Blue Satin 'Junon' Petal-Skirt Evening Dress, W27"

This is such a special dress! 1950s electric blue gown with a voluptuous layered petal design skirt with net crinoline attached. It screams the Junon dress from Christian Dior's Fall/Winter 1949/1950 collection! Natalie Portman wore a recreation to Cannes Festival 2023.

It is sleeveless with a round neckline, low scoop at back, nipped waist with sash belt and large bow at the back. It zips up the back with a plastic zipper. It is quite heavy. 

COLOUR: Electric blue 

MATERIAL: Satin rayon

LABEL: None 

CONDITION: Unfortunately there is a lot of discolouration on this dress. There doesn't appear to be any holes or tears. A snap fastener needs to be restitched to the bow and perhaps some hand stitching to secure the belt and bow in place. Priced as-is.

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase. 

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
