1930s Floral Day Dress with Peter Pan Collar and Matching Celluloid Belt, Size Large, Wounded Bird

This is a stunning 1930s floral dress!  One of my favourites in the studio!  The Purple, green and pink tones in the flowers are so dreamy, especially when paired with the silhouette.  The dress features a large collar and a smocked upper chest. There are small pleats that go over the bust and end at the waist. The dress is cut in a bias cut and has small plates at the front near the hem. The dress closes with small buttons at the back of the neck. It also has a matching belt with a large green celluloid belt! However this dress is sold AS IS and is a wounded bird. Please see the condition section below. 

SIZE: Large- XL

CONDITION: Poor. Unfortunately I don't think this dress is wearable. The fabric is shredding and requires careful handling. The most notable area of shredding is on the left shoulder where there is a large hole. There is one large gash near the right underarm and another closer to the waist. There are numerous places where the shredding has been attempted to be fixed with interfacing especially in the collar/shoulders area (see last photo). There have also been attempts to mending the dress on the right shoulder and back. It is also missing one of the buttons.  Unfortunately this dress would be more suitable for study, or could be patched up to have on display. The only part in good condition is the belt! No issues to note there!
