Vintage 1950s Hand Painted Nylon Floating Leaf Tie

A vintage tie from the 1950s with a floating leaf design. It's made out of nylon and acetate,  it's in the most beautiful vibrant colours. Mainly red, yellow and blue. 

COLOUR:  Red, Yellow, Dusty Pink, Blue

BRAND: Unbranded 

MATERIAL: Rayon

MEASUREMENTS: 
- Length: 53.5"
- Width (tongue): 4.5"
- Width (tail): 2.5"

CONDITION: Good!  but has a few flaws to note: 
- There is a tiny faded stain on the back of the tail of the tie
- Two small brown stains on the back of the tail, hidden behind the lining flap. These don't transfer to the other side, I only noticed them when I did a close inspection. 
- Slight yellowing on the back of the tail 
- Lining on the back of the tongue is wrinkled and might need some reshaping
- 2.5 small holes on the back of the tie near the edge. Not visible from the front

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase. 

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
