Collection: Vintage Bill Blass Clothing
Vintage clothing from American designer Bill Blass, whose namesake label was created in 1970. His clients included American socialites like Gloria Vanderbilt, Brooke Astor and Happy Rockefeller. He is largely credited with creating the relaxed yet elegant American look that was popular in the late 20th Century and helped to shift American women's focus away from solely Parisian fashion. He did this by blending Old Hollywood glamour with sportswear. He was one of the five American designers to face off against French designers at the Battle of Versailles in 1973. He retired in 1999.
