Antique Edwardian 1900s Black Dress, XS, Lace Collar Sheer Front Panel, Half Sleeve, Lace Trimmings, Wounded Bird

Antique Edwardian 1900s Black Dress, XS, Lace Collar Sheer Front Panel, Half Sleeve, Lace Trimmings, Wounded Bird

This is a beautiful early 1900s black dress with a cream lace collar. There are so many beautiful details on it I don't even know where to start ! It features a high neckline with a cream lace collar that is rounded at the front and extends in a V shape at the back. the collar closes at the front with hook and eyes, which continue down the back.
There is a second black lace collar that drapes at over the chest and shoulders. The sleeves are double lined until the elbow and then the rest is sheer until the cuff.
The sheer forearm has polka dot embroidery. The elbow also has lace trimming.
There are two layers of fabric the top later is sheer is it has a squiggly striped pattern mixed with small flowers. This is all ribbon embroidery!
The dress has a "belt" attached (more of a defining waist ribbon), that has a bow detail at the back (side), that ends in a little ball tassels. There are also lace trimmings on the hem of the dress. It truly is a work of art!  Unfortunately it is a wounded bird; please see the condition below.

SIZE: XS (The dress does fit the mannequin its just the neck doesn't close  because of the post of the head)

CONDITION: Fair/Poor, I don't think this dress could be worn due to the shredding on the shoulders. The Dress itself seems pretty sturdy but seeing the shredding on the shoulders, I'm not sure if is wearable even after being mended. The black outer collar has a few broken areas, This does bland in due to it resting on a black fabric but its worth mentioning. The cream lace also has some broken bits. The lace is over 100 years old and I fear it will continue to break. There are two orange (almost bleach like?) Stains at the front, these are not very noticeable. And lastly there is some fabric shifting along the bottom hem. It's such a beautiful piece, and with with some love and care, it would make an amazing historical display. I would be perfect as a study piece as well.
