Vintage 1950s deadstock Bestform girdle with tag still attached. The tag reads: "SANI-SMOOTH. This garment has been antiseptically treated. Prevents growth of bacteria. Eliminates all doors. Utmost comfort. Graceful femininity. Alluring design. By Bestform."

There are additional panels of stretch fabric on the inside of the front with boning going down the centre. There are 4 metal tabs hanging from elastic at the bottom of the girdle to attach stockings to.

SIZING: The tag says 36. It measures 14" across the top opening width and 17" across the bottom at full stretch. It is 14" long at the sides and back, 13" at the centre front.

CONDITION: Some discolouration from storage but it still stretches and seems strong.

Shipping Information

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.

All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase.

We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.

We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
