Vintage 1980s Silver Grey Beaded Chiffon Dress, XL
Such a pretty ethereal gown certainly fit for a mother of the bride or a witchy woman! This dates to the early 80s and the light silk chiffon fabric floats and dances beautifully. It features a round neckline adorned with subtle beadwork. It has long sheer sleeves with an overlay handkerchief butterfly sleeve dripping with beaded tassels which sits atop shoulder pads for extra effect. The top layer of the dress fabric is cut higher than the rest and features a lamé rose pattern. The layer underneath is plain and the final inner layer is of satin. The hem sits at calf length and has a rolled edge finish. It closes at the back neck with covered round buttons and thread loops. The sleeves also close at the wrist with a single button.
Could be styled with a belt or worn as is.
Truly an unusual and eye catching piece.

Our studio hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. Our studio is closed on the weekends and therefore staff are not available for shipping orders on the weekends.
All purchases are shipped through either Canada Post, USPS or Asendia via ChitChats. If you have a FEDEX account, we would be glad to use that if you prefer, please email your FEDEX number to us at iandrummondvintage@gmail.com after your purchase.
We make two weekly trips to the Chit Chats post office, usually on Monday and Friday afternoons. If you need your item shipped express, you may choose this option at checkout. If there are additional costs from what you are quoted at checkout, we will contact you before shipping and bill you via Paypal.
We use Chit Chats or Canada Post's/USPS' "Find a Rate" calculator to set our shipping profiles. Shipping upgrades are offered wherever possible. We will happily provide more exact shipping quotes and make adjustments with your address provided. We will combine orders upon request.
